Abstract:
Wujian shows that Li (吏) and Lihu is based on Hu (户) as an unit for service. This demonstrates the beginning of Lihu. Lihu has no relation with the arrangement of registration system and the status of the labor for service. The findings from Mr. Li Wencai’s article,“Comment on the Study of“Limin”(吏民) from the Wu Bamboo Slips at Zoumalou (走马楼吴简)”,is not quite correct, and it has a lot of nonprofessional discussion. Professional discussion should be based on the academic perspective, follow the strict rules of the profession, and restrict the professional spectrum.K
