Abstract:
The rich and colorful musicaccompanied dance in the Tang Dynasty was not only part of secular social life but a vivid presentation of the Tang people’s perception of “facing death calmly”. From the discovered ruins, relics and tombs of the Tang Dynasty, the picture of musicaccompanied dance was a regular icon of noble status in the tombs of imperial relatives and highrank officials and lords, which mirrored the art of painting, showing the prosperous development of art of musicaccompanied dance and high level of development of art pf painting. This tradition continued till the Five Dynasties. The pictures of musicaccompanied dance discovered in the corridor of Feng Hui’s tomb of the Later Zhou Dynasty reproduced the process of recomposition of the frescos of musicaccompanied dance to maintain the form of painting in the Tang Dynasty.
