Abstract:
The concept of “greenization” was raised based on relevant theoretical sources and solid basis of practice. The concept carried on and developed the ecological thoughts of Marx, Engels, Lenin and other Marxist writers, critically absorbed western trends of ecological civilization, carried forward and refined the view of greenization in Chinese traditional culture, and empirically summarized and theoretically extended ecological civilization construction with Chinese characteristics. Moreover, the concept of “greenization” has its scientific implications. It is a brandnew idea of “respecting, complying with and protecting nature”, a new way of life which is lowcarbon, green, recycling, and energyefficient, an advanced development mode in which men coexist harmoniously with nature, an institution system of ecological civilization construction which is rigorous, realistic and compete, and a language system which presents the harmonious coexistence between man and nature. Therefore, we should explore the means of externalization and path of the concept of “greenization” based on its scientific implications.
