Abstract:
Depending on the 1996-2009 sixe trade data, a decomposition of the increase of China's imported intermediate goods into breadth increase, price increase and quantity increase by the international average level finds that the price and quantity of imported intermediate goods were both very high but their export price was low but the quantity was great. For example, the price of exported components was only half the price of the imported. This directly led to no profit to make in our country's trade of intermediate goods and even suffering great losses. In terms of the increase of import and export, all intermediate goods increased the fastest but the price of imported and exported semifinished products decreased continuously. Therefore, Government and enterprises should jointly take measures to improve the current situation.
