Abstract:
In the current world of education, “alienation” has become common in teacherstudent relationship in school. By reflecting on modern educational theory, we find that modern teacherstudent relationship is being reconstructed by postmodern educational ideology and revised by subjectivity educational theory. However, we hold a deep doubt about the possibility to highlight their theoretical values because of the limitation of theoretical hypotheses and lack of practical operation of the two theories. In terms of reflection on and criticism of educational modernity, in order to get rid of the dilemma of the alienated teacherstudent relationship, we must surpass educational modernity by enriching and completing the implication of postmodern educational ideology and developing a teacherstudent community of constructive postmodern sense and form.
