Su Qing, a renowned female writer, based in her own experience of life and rational consideration of human life in society, observed the trace of female life from a female perspective and explored a way out of life of contemporary females by criticizing the patriarchal distortion of “equality between men and women”. She advocated a selfrespect and selfreliance female view of life and enterprisedevoted ideology, insisting that a femalebased education be introduced to meet with female needs and promote female development. Su’s literary works deconstructed and subverted the world dominated by male discourse. With a combination of old and new ideas, her works are generally forwardlooking and distinct of female characteristics and remains impressively readable.
