Abstract:
The central court headed by Emperor of Suzong in the Tang Dynasty took different coping strategies to the munities in the reaches of the Huai River and Yangtze River in the south from those to the military actions against the central court and munities in the north. This was because the reaches of the Huai River and Yangtze River boasted of property, rice and silk as the rear base of the court, where the influence of rebel forces. The north, however, was the front to squash the Anshi’s rebellion and those troops that rebelled were just the main forces the central court depended to suppress the rebels.
