Abstract:
The slogan is a cultural symbol of distinctive speech style. When the symbol spreads extensively with some political culture meaning, the audience receiving the symbol will take some corresponding political cultural action. Therefore the slogan is not merely the accumulation and representation of culture in a particular time of history, but has very strong function of social mobilization. The Communist Party of China raised large numbers of slogan in different phases of history, which helped both to effectively promote construction of the Party’s organizations and development of political power, and to successfully mobilize different social groups to realize the integration of social classes and social transformation. The rise and evolution of these cultural symbols mirror to a certain degree the shaping and development of the Party’s historical culture.
