中国近代美术史中的传统语境与国粹意识

摘要:
近代中国传统意识的觉醒与民族文化比较问题密不可分。艺术史中的国粹主义者、传统主义者正是在东西方文化对比的历史语境中确立了自我的身份。对于中西艺术关系,传统主义者从文化整体主义的角度立论,逐渐确立了文化与艺术的“东西两源头”论,开始站在世界文化的背景下重新审视中国艺术的传统特色。另外,在中国近现代美术史中,对民间艺术传统的发掘、整理显然也是一项重要成就。知识分子对民间艺术传统的揣摩、想象和解释逐渐形成了新的艺术趣味,在一段时期内,这种趣味甚至成了文人画传统的替代物。

Traditional Context and Consciousness of National Quintessence in the Modern History of Chinese Arts

Abstract:
In modern China, the awakening of traditional consciousness and comparison of national cultures are closely associated with each other. Nationalists and traditionalists in the history of art established their own identity just in the historical context of comparison between Eastern and Western cultures. For the relationship between Chinese and Western art, traditionalists gradually established the conception of “both Eastern and Western origins” for culture and art in terms of cultural holism. They began to reinspect the traditional characteristics of Chinese art in the background of global culture. In addition, excavation and systemization of folk artistic traditions is apparently one of the significant accomplishments in modern and contemporary history of Chinese fine arts.By figuring out, imagining and explaining folk artistic traditions, Chinese intellectuals have gradually formed a new artistic taste, which even became a substitute for scholastic painting tradition in a time.
