Abstract:
Prof. Liu Zeru is a famous psychologist in China in the 20th century. As Porf. Liu was criticized and suppressed by the Chinese psychological circles for his criticisms of Pavlov’s theory, many of his understandings and thoughts in psychology haven’t been understood or received wide attention. Prof. Pan Shu affirmed that “Prof. Liu has his own opinions, and he definitely has made contributions to the development of psychology in China.”However, the details of this view are rarely known to people. In memory of Prof. Liu’s 120th birth anniversary and 30th death anniversary, this paper reviewed his particular contributions in the development of psychology in China.
