Abstract:
At present individual labors in our country generally suffer from overstress of work. Analysis of experience utility based on the prospect theory of behavioral economics discovered that negative change in nature of work brings about negative experience utility to the labor and that his impression of the status quo gets worse and stress is increased. To relieve the labor from pressure of work, either improvement of nature of work or adjustment of reference points can be introduced. The former helps to raise experience utility by improving the nature of work without changing the reference points, while the latter adjusts the reference points to a comparatively low position by means of their changeability. If the two measures are introduced together, the stress of work caused by negative change of nature of work will be effectively reduced.
