Telling China’s Story Well in the New Era: Theoretical Logic, Practical Difficulties and Improved Path

Abstract:
Telling China’s stories well, spreading China’s voice well, and presenting a true, threedimensional and comprehensive China to the world is an important tasks for China’s international communication capacitybuilding in the new era, and the news media plays a key role in this process.The Marxist view of journalism is the soul of news and public opinion work, and to tell Chinese stories well under the guidance of the Marxist view of journalism is the proper meaning of propaganda and ideological work. At present, the news media should adhere to the Marxist view of journalism as the guidance in carrying out international communication work, combine the characteristics of The Times and China’s national conditions, improve the level of integrated and intelligent communication, and make positive contributions to the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and promote the building of a community with a shared future for the humankind.
