Abstract:
Primary socialization is the foundation of children’s moral growth. As a “Disembeding community”, modern community provides the primary public space for children’s socialization. Children’s social learning in this space has the value that school education cannot replace, and actually shapes the primary social characteristics of children. Compared with school moral education, the occurrence logic of modern community moral education also naturally has its particularity, which is mainly manifested in two aspects in terms of connotation: on the one hand, external needs, that is, the development of The Times and society urgently needs modern community to play an active moral education function. On the other hand, the endogenous motivation, that is, the improvement of the community’s own function drives the mechanism of community moral education. From another perspective, the mechanism of community moral education is embodied in two basic ways to promote children’s moral growth: the cultivation of community emotion and the internalization of civic virtue.
