Abstract:
Confidence in history is the distinctive mark and spiritual trait of Chinese Communists in the new era. It embodies the Party’s full affirmation and firm confidence in its own history, and in essence reflects its positive attitude of creating history with firm conviction. The historical confidence of the CPC is gradually accumulated from the course of historical struggle. It is the confidence in its own historical achievements and the spirit of struggle. It is the Party’s confidence in its own advanced nature and unique advantages. It is confidence in the direction of the Party and its future development prospects. Confidence in history shows the will to promote the development of history. It requires a comprehensive and objective summary and evaluation of their own history, grasping the law of history, and strengthening the initiative of history in the firm confidence. To strengthen our confidence in history, we must deepen our understanding awareness of history, keep clear of history and enhance our historical consciousness, so as to provide inexhaustible spiritual motivation for the Party to lead the people in creating new historical achievements.
