Abstract:
Since the birth of modern mass communication media, the impact of media change and development on the historical process of human society has become more and more obvious, and media culture as media and their representational system has also received great attention from scholars of different eras.In the current era, in the extended line of the academic development history of media culture studies, paying attention to a series of new issues in media culture and its practical activities is not only an urgent academic issue for the theoretical community to face, but also inevitably stipulates its meaningful orientation in the field of media culture practice. In this regard, further attention should be paid to theoretical and practical issues such as the panmediality of media culture, the totality of media culture practices, the social contextualization of media culture and the selective resistance to such contexts, which may provide intellectual resources for the practice of media culture in the new era.
