Building the digital Yangtze River focuses on the complex digital transformation of economic and social development and ecological environment protection of the basin, which is consistent with the connotation of Chinesestyle Modernization, which is an important engine to drive the High quality Development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. On the theoretical level, the network externalities, transaction cost saving effects and inclusive growth effects of the digital economy can promote the technology spillover of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the coordinated development of the upstream, midstream and downstream, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and ensure the social inclusion of equal opportunities, and boost the High Quality Development of the whole basin.
