Abstract:
There are many sub texts of drama works in the Qing Dynasty, the relationship between them and main text is quite complex. By the change of versions, the increase or decrease with the number of sub texts, referential relationship between them turns to be more secret and diverse. Therefore, it is necessary to make a comprehensive interpretation with the help of intertextual relationship between various sub texts and even positive texts. The versions of Xu Xi’s “Jing Guang Yuan” and “Xie Xin Ju” are complex. From the perspective of version change, we can find many particularities about the author’s life experience, drama creation and even theme. Intertextuality interpretation provides Xu’s drama creation and interpretation with multidimensional, effective and valuable narrative strategies.
