陕西师范大学英文刊《中国西部研究》征稿启事 Western China Studies Call for Papers

Western China Studies(《中国西部研究》)是由陕西师范大学主办的英文连续出版物,于每年三月和十月各出一辑。该出版物以中国西部为研究对象,以“西部基点、当代情怀、世界眼光”为办刊宗旨。刊载观点鲜明、方法严谨的理论和实证性学术论文,亦发布关于中国西部研究的动态消息与书评。本刊致力于推出有关中国西部的政治、经济、历史、考古、教育、思想与文化、社会、环境与生态、文学、语言、艺术、民族与宗教等各个方面的专题研究成果。

我们期待所刊载的论文具有以下特点:能够积极而准确地反映当代中国西部地区的发展与进步;总结并向世界介绍中国历史、中国道路、中国经验、中国理论、中国智慧和中国方案,在讲好“中国故事”的大框架下,讲好“中国西部故事”;面向当代中国社会的改革实践,基于翔实而准确的资料、利用科学的研讨方法探索中国西部发展路径的独特性;倡导具有国际视野的发展比较研究。

现面向各相关专业领域的专家学者以及英文熟练且在学术上有一定建树的青年教师征集英文原创性或中文优秀稿件。在当今高等教育国际化的趋势下,本刊是我校深入开展国际交流合作的重要载体,学术国际化的重要体现,它一定能够在全世界产生重要的影响。于此我们祈请各位专家学者踊跃投稿,共同响应国家“中国出版物和学术走出去”战略,积极参与到中国哲学社会科学国际话语体系和学术体系的构建中来。

Western China Studies is a series of social science publications initiated by Shaanxi Normal University. The journal is published biannually, in March and October, focusing on western China-related studies. We seek submissions which address issues concerning various topics of the development of western China including but not limited to politics, economy, history, archaeology, education, thought and culture, sociology, environment and ecology, literature, linguistic, art, religions, and ethnography, etc.

The aim of the journal is to collect articles with distinct views, rigorous theory and practical values which could accurately discuss the development and progress of western China. Based on detailed data and scientific methodology, international perspectives or comparative studies are much appreciated.

We are calling for papers for the coming issue in Spring 2022 and sincerely invite you to submit manuscripts. Both English and Chinese manuscripts are acceptable, however, original English manuscripts are much more encouraged. We would appreciate it if you could share this information with your colleagues and associates.
